Top edge chewed by gerbils?
My mom had gerbils in the 15 gallon tank I'm using as a past, and wondering how to replace tire little thing that puts the lid. The gerbils chewed up badly and is difficult to keep the lid and turn on. I was using tape, but I want something more permanent. I think there's enough left edge repaired with sealant. On the sides of the tank, the wheel is almost completely gone.
You can repair a cut lip black plastic aquarium with aquarium sealant. The major disadvantage for the repair of an established aquarium is that you need to have the tank completely dry to use sealant. It also would have to buy or borrow some clamps.
