My Guinea Pigs are such fussy eaters?
They do not eat much besides lettuce, carrots and celery. I try to introduce new foods, but I do not even wear them. What should I do to get more variety in your diet? Thanks Britt, yes they are eating their pellets and hay, only very fussy about fresh fruit and vegetables that give them. I did not ask specifically loubou, who chose to answer the question. Some pigs are picky eaters just like some people are! You may never get them to expand their fondness for sweets. I went to primary school with a boy who had PB & J sandwiches for lunch every day and nothing could tempt him with anything else! One thing you can try is to give the new treatment and a little something they like. Once you are on a roll, sometimes you end the old favorite and still the new. Moreover, if even one of his pigs eat something, you normally can "train" to others by example. If you have good grass clean, free of pesticides, can prove that. In 40 + years, we have never had a pig who do not eat grass while eating his pellets and hay and drinking and pills are cool with its content of vitamin C is still intact, you have nothing to worry about a nutritional point of view.
